Why Life Outside

A provider that shows up — every single time

Choosing the right NDIS provider is one of the most important decisions a participant or family can make. Here is what makes Life Outside different.

What sets us apart

Six reasons families choose Life Outside

We are not the biggest provider in the region. We are the most committed to the participants we work with.

Outdoor-first support model

Every service we design starts with the question: how can we bring the outdoors into this? Nature is not a backdrop — it is part of the support.

Participant-led planning

We listen first. Your goals, your pace, your preferences — these shape everything we do, not the other way around.

Consistent, familiar support workers

We work hard to match participants with support workers who stick around — because trust is built over time, not in a single session.

Transparent communication

Families and carers are kept in the loop. We communicate clearly, promptly and honestly — no surprises.

Flexible scheduling

Life does not follow a timetable. We offer flexible scheduling that adapts to participants' lives, not the other way around.

Genuine care, every visit

Our team is here because they want to be. We hire for warmth and commitment, and it shows in every interaction.

Our commitment

We measure success by your goals, not ours

At Life Outside, we do not measure success by the number of participants on our books. We measure it by whether the people we support are moving closer to the life they want to live.

That might mean gaining the confidence to catch a bus alone, cooking a meal for the first time, or simply spending more time outside doing something they love. Every milestone matters, no matter how small it looks from the outside.

We review goals regularly with participants and their families, and we are always honest about what is working and what we can do better.

Getting started

From first hello to your first session

Starting with a new provider should feel straightforward. Here is exactly what happens when you reach out to Life Outside.

  1. Reach out

Call, email or send an enquiry through our website. There is no form to fill in before you can speak to a real person.

  2. Have a conversation

We have an informal chat about your goals, your NDIS plan and what support might look like. No pressure, no jargon.

  3. Meet your support worker

We match you with a support worker who fits your personality and goals, and arrange a meet-and-greet before anything is confirmed.

  4. Design your schedule

Together we build a schedule that fits your life — flexible, realistic and focused on what you actually want to do.

  5. Get outside and get started

Your first session is about getting comfortable, having fun and beginning to build a relationship with your support worker.

Common questions

Things families often ask us

If your question is not here, please get in touch — we are always happy to chat.

Yes — our services are funded through the NDIS. If you are not yet on the NDIS and would like guidance on how to apply, we are happy to point you in the right direction.

We are based in Wuuluman NSW and support participants across the surrounding region. Please get in touch to confirm whether we cover your area.

Absolutely. We take matching seriously and will introduce you to a support worker before any sessions begin. If the fit is not right, we will find someone who is.

That is completely normal. We review your goals regularly and adjust your support schedule as your life and priorities evolve. Flexibility is one of our core commitments.

Simply reach out via our contact page, give us a call or send an email. We will arrange an informal chat at a time that suits you — no paperwork required upfront.

Please get in touch to discuss your specific situation. We will be honest about whether we are the right fit and, if not, we will do our best to point you towards a provider who is.
