Who we are
Real support, real people, real outdoors
Life Outside was built on a simple belief: that great support looks like a walk in the bush, a morning at the markets, or learning to cook a meal — not just ticking boxes on a care plan.

Our story
We believe the best support happens outdoors
Life Outside was founded to give NDIS participants a different kind of experience — one grounded in nature, community and genuine human connection.
We work alongside participants and their families to design support that fits real goals — not just a checklist. Whether that means a morning in the community, building new skills, or simply getting out of the house, we show up with genuine care and flexibility.
Our team supports participants across Core Support, Community Access and Capacity Building, always with an outdoor-first mindset and a focus on what matters most to each person.
We are based in Wuuluman NSW and support participants across the region. Every plan we work with is treated as a living document — something to grow and adapt as life changes.

What drives us
Our values in everyday practice
These are not words on a wall — they are the things our team thinks about every single day.
Outdoor-first mindset
We design support around the outdoors wherever possible — because fresh air, movement and community are good for everyone.
Genuine flexibility
No two participants are the same. We adapt our approach to fit each person's goals, pace and preferences.
Dignity in every interaction
We treat every participant with respect, patience and warmth — in the community, at home and everywhere in between.
Family and carer partnership
We keep families and carers informed and involved, because the best outcomes happen when everyone is on the same page.
Skill-building focus
We look for opportunities to build independence in everyday moments — not just in formal sessions.
Community connection
We help participants find their place in the community — through activities, relationships and shared experiences.

Our approach
Why the outdoors makes a difference
Research consistently shows that time in nature supports wellbeing, reduces stress and builds confidence. At Life Outside, we have built our entire support model around this idea.
From morning walks and community gardens to local markets, parks and recreational activities, we find ways to bring the outdoors into every participant's week — at whatever level suits them.
Our support workers are chosen not just for their qualifications, but for their enthusiasm for outdoor life and their ability to make every outing feel safe, enjoyable and purposeful.
